My name is Roman and I wanted to share my story.
As so many of us have dealt with, I was going through an unusually stressful time at my work office, where my boss was on a daily tirade, venting at me with his frustrations…although what he was angered at, had nothing to do with me.
…meanwhile, the caffeine in my daily cups of coffee seemed to be having the effect of making me feel wired, and more irritable…the opposite of what I needed.
It was lunchtime…I walked into the Whole Foods Market down the block from my office…not really hungry, but thinking I should have something to get through the rest of my day.
As I walked through the market, I came upon someone who was doing a product demo for an herbal beverage mix that ‘claimed’ to help manage stress…I stopped, and half listened to what he was telling a couple of other shoppers about this so called remedy…I admit to be, to the greater extent, skeptical, in general, of products that make claims of “feeling better.”
I started to walk away… as I turned to leave, a woman, who was passing behind me stopped, and with a smile she said to me:
“this stuff actually works…I’ve been drinking it often!”
As she walked away, I turned back toward the demo…among the purchase options was a 3 packet – sample pack…I thought, “who knows… maybe there’s something to this…what do I got to lose”…so with that, I grabbed one to try.
Returning to work, my boss continued venting around me, generating even more anxiety, coupled with a headache…I was about to pour myself a cup of coffee, then thought, “what the heck…let me try one of these Kalm mixes.”
My first reaction, as I started to drink, was that it had a surprisingly pleasant taste…I wasn’t expecting that…I drank it down.
……Around 10 minutes or so later, I noticed that my headache was gone!
I was experiencing a general state of feeling calmer, more relaxed, but with my brain feeling ‘on again’….…
”What is in this stuff?” I thought.
Over the next two days, I used the other 2 packets, which definitely made a big difference in getting through my work day! The skeptic in me was convinced like that woman had said, that THIS STUFF WORKS!
I went back to Whole Foods and bought 3 full boxes of these packets…became a regular user…as well as an advocate, which my friends who know I’m a skeptic, were amused at.
When I reached out to the company to tell them my experience, they informed me that for the near term, they would be selling their remedy online only, while the company reorganized with the management and marketing team needed to build the business…I stocked up often, rationing my use so that I wouldn’t run out during their transition.
Bottom line: I am so ‘relieved’ that I actually gave this stuff a try……..once again, “this stuff actually works!”
